Description
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will support the delivery of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is completed to a high technical and professional standard in accordance with auditing and regulatory requirements.
You will build strong client relationships, communicate effectively throughout engagements, and deliver excellent client service.
The role includes performing audit fieldwork, preparing audit working papers, meeting agreed deadlines and budgets, supporting and mentoring junior team members, identifying opportunities to improve audit processes, maintaining professional standards, and undertaking continuous professional development to enhance your technical knowledge and audit expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, performing and completing audit assignments in accordance with auditing standards and firm methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients to obtain audit evidence and resolve queries.
- Deliver audit assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with technical, regulatory and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and client service.
- Key Requirements
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
- Good understanding of UK auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software.
- Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining high professional standards.
