The role of a Bookkeeper is to provide an excellent service for clients, creating and maintaining strong relationships. This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive and professional approach. This role would suit someone looking for part-time hours, such as school hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily 'on-site' bookkeeping at clients
- Build strong lasting relationships with a large variety of clients
- Implementing Xero and 'app-stacks' for client
- Completion of accurate and timely management information
- Assisting in the production of monthly accounts and reports
- Reconciliation balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Preparation and posting journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets etc
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payments
- Accounts payable with expenses and credit cards
- Accounts receivable and credit control
- Making our clients' lives easier and helping their businesses thrive
Key Requirements
- Fully qualified AAT or 'Qualified by experience'
- Full UK driving licence
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
- Love and knowledge of technology - Excel and accountancy apps
- Excellent attention to detail
- Xero experience
- A desire to learn and develop
