The Cloud Accounting Specialist is a hands‑on regional specialist responsible for delivering Xeinadin’s digital accountancy strategy across a defined region. This role combines technical delivery - including platform migrations, systems integrations, licence management and reporting - with capability building across the business by training and supporting Cloud Specialists and Cloud Champions. It also involves proactive supplier engagement and designing tailored digital solutions for clients. The purpose of the Digital team is to deliver, support and embed the Xeinadin Digital Strategy across the organisation. This role can be based in the South of the UK. It operates on a hybrid working model and requires regular travel to Xeinadin offices throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate central strategic plans into local, measurable outcomes.
  • Proactively foster a cloud‑focused culture across regional offices.
  • Assess client needs and design tailored cloud accounting and automation solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate migrations from manual books and legacy systems to cloud platforms.
  • Own delivery of the cloud and digital accountancy strategy for the region.
  • Provide hands‑on support during system cutover and early post‑migration phases.
  • Identify, train and mentor Cloud Specialists and Cloud Champions.
  • Oversee the development of Cloud Specialists and Champions from consultation to configuration and installation.
  • Maintain relationships with preferred suppliers and evaluate vendor products.
  • Coordinate supplier training sessions and maintain required certifications.
  • Produce licence activation, usage and adoption reports for regional offices.
  • Support internal licence recharge processes.
  • Assist Cloud Specialists and Champions with Making Tax Digital (MTD) and related compliance transitions.
  • Ensure all solutions meet documentation, security and governance standards.
  • Stay current with preferred supplier certifications, product releases and updates.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops and coaching clinics for colleagues.
  • Provide ad hoc regional technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex issues to central IT or external vendors as needed.

Key Requirements

  • AAT Level 2 or equivalent.
  • ACCA/ACA or similar qualification desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in project management and project delivery desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Experience using CCH Practice Management, Document Management, Accounts Production, Tax (PT/CT) and OneClick - desirable, but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

  • Practical experience delivering cloud accounting solutions and digital transformation projects within an accountancy or professional services environment.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with major cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, Sage, Dext, and similar tools).
  • Experience with system migrations, integrations and automation workflows.
  • Competence in licence management and reporting, including analysing usage and activation metrics.
  • Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to present, tailor and influence cloud solution adoption.
  • Experience coaching, training and supporting colleagues.
  • Strong numerical and data‑handling skills, with the ability to interpret complex information.
  • Analytical and pragmatic, with the ability to deliver practical and effective technical solutions.
