Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join our Corporate Recovery Team in Manchester. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a career in business administration, especially within the finance and corporate recovery sector. You will be working towards a qualification in Business Administration, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning essential skills from our experienced professionals. You'll provide administrative support to the team and assist in a wide range of tasks as you learn about corporate recovery and insolvency procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to corporate recovery and insolvency cases.
- Preparing and drafting reports, letters, and other documentation for clients, creditors, and financial institutions.
- Supporting the team in managing communications with clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
- Handling data entry and updating case management software with client information.
- Assisting with the organisation and processing of incoming and outgoing post, telephone inquiries, and email correspondence.
- Preparing documents for meetings, including photocopying, filing, and other clerical duties.
- Attending client sites when necessary to assist with the retrieval of business records and materials.
- Providing support in the production of financial documentation, payment requisitions, and creditor claims.
Key Requirements
- Experience in an office-based environment.
- A passion for business administration and a desire to work within a financial or corporate recovery environment.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
Additional Requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in your work.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience in a customer-facing or office-based role would be beneficial but is not essential.
