Our infrastructure division focuses on the safety of key civil infrastructure across the UK and beyond. Our specialist team conducts thorough inspections on critical structures such as railway bridges, including access to challenging locations. From abseiling to diving, the team’s skills enable us to support customers in diverse environments. This role is predominately based on/around the M25.
Responsibilities
- Use specialist access to inspect and examine a variety of structures throughout the UK in accordance with the required technical standards/specifications.
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of Structural Inspections, Investigations and Surveys.
- Support pre-work planning activities including attendance at pre-site visits, liaison with landowners, agents or contractors, and review and acceptance of proposed safe systems of work.
- Prepare inspection reports, including the production of drawings within CAD.
- Work as part of a growing team on highway infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Experience in a Structures Inspection role.
- Knowledge/awareness of industry standards under the Design Manual for Road and Bridges (DMRB).
- Familiarity with CS450 and the Inspection Manual for Highways Structures.
- Awareness of the Senior or Inspector level qualification under the Bridge Inspector Certification Scheme (BICS).
- Experience in the use of asset management software, including IAMIS, AGILE, Bridge Station or equivalent platforms.
- Degree/HNC/HND in civil or structures engineering (desirable).
- Be prepared to travel and work nationwide.
- The ability to work at height and within confined spaces.
- Full UK Driving licence.
