We are currently recruiting two reliable and dedicated Cleaners to join the facilities team at a busy and welcoming Further Education College. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and want to contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and positive learning environment for students and staff.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 9:15am
- Friday: 6:00am - 9:00am
- Total: 15 hours per week.
This early morning schedule is ideal for candidates seeking part-time work that fits around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Maintaining washrooms to a high hygiene standard
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
- Following health & safety procedures at all times; you will play a vital role in ensuring the college environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming each day.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Understanding of basic health and safety procedures
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or issued within the last 3 months is essential for this role.
Contract Details:
- 15 hours per week
- Fixed-term contract until 3 months
- Immediate start available
