We are currently recruiting for an Inclusion Practitioner to join our education team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adult male learners with English and Maths, helping them to develop essential skills that can be transferred into employment and support positive life outcomes beyond custody. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference, demonstrates patience and empathy, and is committed to inclusive education. You will work closely with learners who may face a range of barriers to learning, supporting them to build confidence, skills, and resilience.
Role Details
- Permanent, part-time position
- 16.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational learning support to learners in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Take a holistic approach to identifying individual learning needs and supporting skill development
- Focus primarily on English and Maths, with a clear emphasis on employability outcomes
- Set and review effective, personalised targets to meet individual learner needs
- Offer consistent guidance, encouragement, and practical support to learners throughout their education journey
About You
- Passionate, creative, and empathetic in their approach to learning support
- Confident working with adult learners who may have complex needs
- Able to build positive, professional relationships in a challenging but rewarding environment
- Experience or knowledge of strategies to support learners with a wide range of neurodiverse needs would be a strong advantage
