Curriculum Lead – English & Mathematics
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and forward-thinking individual to lead the design and delivery of English and Mathematics across multiple learning environments within a large educational organisation. This leadership role is central to ensuring innovative, impactful, and efficient approaches that drive high learner achievement and progression.
Core Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of English and Mathematics provision across various sites, embedding effective and scalable delivery models that support learner attainment.
- Contribute to organisational growth by aligning curriculum plans with regional skills demands and building strong external partnerships.
- Champion excellence in teaching and learning through visionary leadership, ensuring a rich learner experience and excellent educational outcomes.
- Ensure each learner benefits from a consistently high-quality journey, achieving their goals and advancing into meaningful opportunities.
- Monitor sector developments and adopt responsive strategies to keep curriculum delivery relevant and competitive.
- Oversee the effective delivery of English and Maths, ensuring standards remain high and outcomes measurable.
- Lead and manage a dispersed team, optimising use of staff and resources to meet key performance benchmarks.
- Ensure performance indicators for curriculum delivery are achieved consistently.
Leadership and Operational Duties:
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring consistent development, motivation, and collaboration across all locations.
- Maintain open lines of communication, sharing key priorities and promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure staff resource planning is aligned with organisational needs, maximising efficiency while maintaining budgetary control.
Required Qualifications and Attributes:
- Degree-level education or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Leadership or management qualification.
- Ongoing engagement with professional development activities.
Full-time permanent role
Competitive salary: £61,198 – £73,046, dependent on experience and qualifications
