Careers Advisor – Central & North London (Multiple Sites) 📍 Locations: Victoria, Soho, Tottenham, Kings Cross (Candidates must be flexible to work across sites) 🕒 Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week 💰 Rate: 17 -20 per hour 📅 Start Date: 19th August  📌 Contract: Ongoing temporary cover (not temp-to-perm) Are you passionate about guiding and empowering young people as they take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment?  🔍 Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 careers guidance sessions to students, supporting their aspirations and progression goals Plan and facilitate group workshops and tutorials covering HE, employability skills, and apprenticeship options Support students with HE finance and bursary applications, including guidance on Student Finance England processes Assist in the planning and delivery of a comprehensive careers and employability programme in collaboration with internal and external partners Create and maintain up-to-date resources, including digital content, to support career pathways Organise and coordinate enrichment activities such as university visits, employer talks, and career fairs Support teaching staff in embedding careers education into the curriculum and delivering related CPD✅ What You’ll Need: A degree and a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience providing careers guidance within education or training settings Strong knowledge of the Gatsby Benchmarks, LMI (Labour Market Information), and the post-16/post-18 education landscape Ability to work flexibly across sites and collaboratively with curriculum staff and external stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in learners\’ futures while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
