Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service.
