We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Development & Engagement Officer to support the growth and delivery of our learning provision. This role combines business development, stakeholder engagement, and operational support to ensure courses are effectively planned, promoted, and delivered. The successful candidate will play a key role in building relationships with employers and partners, identifying new learning opportunities, and supporting curriculum teams to deliver high-quality courses that meet the needs of learners and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage partner and employer relationships to support engagement and drive business growth.
- Identify and develop new learning opportunities in response to employer, industry, and community needs.
- Support curriculum delivery, including creating course setups and assisting with course planning.
- Manage tutor timetables and coordinate scheduling to support effective programme delivery.
- Process and manage cancelled courses and maintain accurate course records.
- Develop marketing assets and promotional materials to support course recruitment and awareness.
- Attend community and college events to promote learning provision and engage with prospective learners, partners, and employers.
- Provide strong administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of programmes.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. You will have:
- Experience developing and maintaining partner or employer relationships.
- Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using office systems to manage information.
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders including employers, community partners, tutors, and learners.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
