Job Description

Success Coach – Student Support & Development?? Northampton | ?? 37 hours per week | Term-Time Only (40 working weeks)?? £21,096 – £23,020 per annum Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential?A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Success Coach to join a supportive and student-focused environment in Northampton. This rewarding role is ideal for someone with a strong background in student engagement, pastoral care, or personal development.Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach students 1:1 and in groups to build motivation, set academic and personal goals, and track progress.
  • Deliver engaging personal development sessions on topics such as healthy relationships, safeguarding, consent, and resilience.
  • Monitor attendance and engagement, following up with students to encourage retention and re-engagement.
  • Provide pastoral and wellbeing support, signposting or referring students to specialist services where needed.
  • Collaborate with the Careers Team to support students in developing employability skills and future planning.
About You:
  • Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
  • A strong understanding of student engagement and personal development coaching.
  • Experience working with diverse learners, including those with SEND or who are at risk of disengagement.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles, social mobility, and inclusive support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff alike.
