Job Description
- Coach students 1:1 and in groups to build motivation, set academic and personal goals, and track progress.
- Deliver engaging personal development sessions on topics such as healthy relationships, safeguarding, consent, and resilience.
- Monitor attendance and engagement, following up with students to encourage retention and re-engagement.
- Provide pastoral and wellbeing support, signposting or referring students to specialist services where needed.
- Collaborate with the Careers Team to support students in developing employability skills and future planning.
- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of student engagement and personal development coaching.
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those with SEND or who are at risk of disengagement.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles, social mobility, and inclusive support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff alike.
