An FE College is looking for a Specialist SEND Trainer to work with our Supported Internship programmes, providing tailored training, guidance, and job coaching particularly supporting SEND Students.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging training sessions focused on employability and independent living skills
- Support and coordinate job coaching for interns with additional learning needs
- Work closely with employers and businesses to ensure a smooth and supportive work placement experience
- Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers to track progress and provide updates
- Organise and deliver workshops that build confidence, self-esteem, and essential workplace skills
- Arrange meaningful work placements that align with students' interests and abilities
- Engage with community leaders and organisations to create volunteering and learning opportunities
- Ensure safeguarding and inclusion standards are met to create a safe and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dedicated professional with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) training and support. If you have a background in teaching, coaching, or mentoring young people with additional learning needs and a passion for inclusive education, we’d love to hear from you!
Essential:
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
- A Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English qualification
- Hold or be willing to work towards a PTLLS qualification
