A-Level Psychology Teacher (Part-Time)?? Location: Stepney Green & Hackney Campus?? Days: 4 days per weekAugust until December - possibility to extend?? Rate: £28.43 per hour?? Subjects: A-Level Psychology (Sociology and Criminology experience desirable)About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our academic team. You will be responsible for teaching across a range of courses, with a focus on A-Level Psychology. The ability to teach Sociology or Criminology is a strong advantage.This is a fantastic opportunity to work across two vibrant campuses and contribute to the success of 16–19 learners preparing for university and careers in social sciences.Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach A-Level Psychology and contribute to teaching across related subjects where applicable
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with curriculum standards
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Curriculum Manager and wider team
  • Participate in curriculum planning, assessment, and learner progress monitoring
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice
Person Specification:
  • Degree with a Psychology component is essential
  • Ability to offer Sociology and/or Criminology is desirable
  • Experience teaching A-Level or similar post-16 qualifications
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement
