The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional to join our expanding in‑house security team. If you are committed to delivering excellent customer service and want to be part of a professional and supportive team, we would welcome your application. Your key focus will be to help ensure that University College Birmingham remains a safe, secure, and welcoming place to study, work, and visit. Campus Security operates 365 days a year on a 24‑hour rota, requiring flexibility to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule. We promote an inclusive culture where everyone is supported to flourish. You will receive accredited training, a full uniform, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic city‑centre academic environment.

Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of Corporate Security, Security Officer, Security Guard, Experienced Security Officer, Security, Security Enforcement Officer, SIA Licence, SIA Licenced Security Officer, CCTV, Security Support Officer may also be considered for this role.
