Position Details: * Positions: Care Assistant & Senior Care Assistant * Hourly Rate: £11.44-£12.80 per hour * Location: Willington * Hours per Week: Permanent, 37 hours per week * Shifts: 8am-8pm/8am-2pm/2pm-8pm About the care home: An amazing opportunity has become available for passionate care assistants and senior care assistants to join Xealthcare’s prestigious care providers residential care home, located in an easily commutable area in Willington, with great transport links. Our client is offering permanent full-time contracts with long and short shifts available. Our client’s medium sized home offers residential care for elderly residents living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and there is also a separate facility for older adults with learning disabilities. The well-established care assistants and senior care assistants are trained to deliver the best possible care. Following their most recent CQC inspection the residential care home has been rated ‘GOOD’. Position: Healthcare Assistant As a healthcare assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our client’s residents. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, administering medication, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our client’s residents and contribute to their health and happiness. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. * Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. * Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility. * Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. * Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. * Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Requirements: * No requirement of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, but it would be beneficial. * Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred. * Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. * Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
