About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Assistant Practitioner to join their Health & Social Care department, providing exceptional care and support to service users and their families. Working under the direction of registered professionals, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding care and support to service users under the guidance of registered professionals.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
  • Contribute to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Support junior team members and Trainee Assistant Practitioners.
  • Maintain service user confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
  • Promote choice, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Level 5 Foundation Degree in Assistant Practitioner (Healthcare).
  • Experience working in healthcare, with a preference for those with neuro or palliative care experience.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and its application in practice.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently within the scope of practice.
