Activities Coordinator

Location: Northwood
Hours: 25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm
Pay: £12.25 per hour (all breaks paid)

We are currently seeking a cheerful and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join a friendly nursing home team. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about improving residents wellbeing and quality of life through meaningful activities and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents
• Take residents out on trips and outings where appropriate
• Ensure all activities are accurately documented
• Book external entertainment when required
• Liaise with and consult families regarding activities and resident involvement
• Promote social interaction, inclusion, and enjoyment for all residents

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in an Activities role within a Care Home or Hospital
• A warm, positive, and engaging personality
• Confidence working with elderly residents
• Good organisational and communication skillsi>
