Our client, a well-established and welcoming nursing home, is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Person to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the nursing home, ensuring the building, grounds, and equipment are kept in excellent working order.
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the nursing home.
- Undertake basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and general handyman duties.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Liaise professionally with colleagues, contractors, and residents when required.
Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, handyman, or building services role is essential. Competence in basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and general repairs is required. A full UK driving licence is also necessary.
