We are looking for an experienced and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery setting. This is a full-time role split between room-based support and office responsibilities, working within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead and support staff with planning and activities
  • Support safeguarding, SENCO responsibilities, and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with parents and outside agencies
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, health & safety, and EYFS practice
  • Assist with nursery administration and staff support

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • At least 3 years experience in a senior nursery role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
  • Leadership experience within a nursery setting
  • Positive, approachable, and team-focused attitude
