Salary: £13.60 £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Sleep-in shifts included | Potential annual earnings: £33,088 £34,960

Contract: Full-time | Rotational shifts (inc. evenings/weekends)

We are seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a nurturing and dynamic team at a well-established childrens residential service. You will play a vital role in supporting young people aged between 8 and 17, providing therapeutic care, stability, and structure to help them thrive.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Leading and supervising shifts to ensure a safe, structured, and engaging environment for the children

• Supporting the Registered and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home

• Mentoring, coaching, and supervising junior staff

• Contributing to care planning and key-working responsibilities

• Ensuring care and safeguarding standards are consistently upheld

• Acting as a positive role model to promote independence and resilience in young people

• Liaising with professionals, families, and external agencies

What Were Looking For:

Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent essential)

Minimum 2 years experience in a residential childcare setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development & relevant legislation

A calm, compassionate, and resilient nature

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
