We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is already experienced as a Deputy Manager or a strong Third in Charge who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a room-based role, working closely with the team and children on a daily basis, rather than an office-based position. You will play a key part in supporting the Manager, leading by example, and ensuring high standards of care, practice, and professionalism are maintained throughout the setting.

Hours: Full time 4 days per week: 8:00am - 6:00pm, 1 half day per week (either morning or afternoon, depending on the weekly rota)

Salary: Β£31,000 - Β£36,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
  • Act as a role model within the room, maintaining high standards of practice
  • Support and guide staff within the room and across the team
  • Ensure children's wellbeing, safety, and development are always prioritised
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and management
  • Step into the Manager's role when required

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or a confident Third in Charge
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and support
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work as part of a team
