We are seeking an experienced and confident Room Leader to join our nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead a team and support high-quality care and learning within a nurturing environment.
About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and education for children. You will act as a role model, supporting both children and staff while promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of nursery practitioners
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and early years regulations
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Monitor and support children's learning and development
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and children
- Support effective assessment, planning, and reflective practice

Requirements
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years / Childcare

- Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior practitioner role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive, positive, and professional approach
