About This Role
As a Senior Database Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting Xe's critical databases. Your expertise will ensure our transactional systems are highly available, secure, and efficient, directly contributing to our business success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing production Oracle and Microsoft SQL database systems.
- System Monitoring and reporting.
- Transforming data between systems.
- Monitoring, improving, and maintaining our RPO / RTO objectives.
- Being proactive to ensure all databases are operating at peak performance.
- Provide on-call support when required.
- Supporting other Oracle DBAs within the group of companies.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years managing Oracle Enterprise Database 19c.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle Datapump (export/import).
- Proficiency in performance tuning and scripting for Oracle (primary) and Microsoft SQL (secondary).
- Hands-on experience managing high-availability and replicated data systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle patching, RMAN backup management, and Data Guard.
- Extensive experience in PL/SQL development, including stored procedures and functions.
- Deep understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
