At Xe, we live currencies. We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API, and quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app, and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access currency information, and over 225,000 used us to send money overseas.

About This Role

Xe.com is a high-traffic site with around 250 million visitors annually. We are seeking several energetic and ambitious mid and senior full-stack developers to join a new team focused on expanding our FX trading platform. Your team will build and own a new mobile app and web platform over a shared trading API. Success involves delivering a robust, highly available trading platform to increase our customer base, trades, and revenue on time and with quality.

In this role, you will work in an Agile environment to deliver and own a new customer journey via App or Web, using a shared, headless API back-end.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Xe Consumer App and/or Web using Vue.js and C# .NET Core.
• Deliver quality code and CI/CD pipelines within 3 months, following best practices for ongoing updates.
• Continuously learn new skills and technologies.
• Contribute to a team that delights millions of users, increasing revenue through App or Web by 20%.
• Work on a weekly cadence to deliver continuous value.
• Quickly adapt and develop deep technical understanding of new applications and complex technologies.
• Have 5+ years of experience in end-to-end web or mobile development in an Agile environment supporting automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be experienced in Vue.js, React, Angular, JavaScript, and C# or Node.js, following best practices.
• Have experience building Microservice Architectures using ReST or GraphQL, .NET Core v3.
• Demonstrate a strong can-do attitude.

Desirable Skills

• Delivered production-level apps using Ionic, Cordova, or similar, with React or Angular.
• Experience in Fintech or web/mobile agencies, with some enterprise exposure.
• Experience deploying into AWS and using native services like SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Kinesis, Lambdas.
• Knowledge of Event Source Architectures and Eventual Consistency models.
• Polyglot skills in Java, GoLang, Scala, PHP, Python.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
