About Xe
Xe is a cross-border payments platform. We help SMEs and consumers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand collect, convert, hold, and send money across markets. Each year, over 300 million people use Xe for currency information and over 350,000 use us to send money overseas. Today, we're rebuilding the platform layer behind cross-border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We're small enough that your code ships fast and your decisions matter, and Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT) backs us so the problems stay real-scale.
About This Role
We're hiring a mid-level product designer who likes owning real problems end-to-end, from user research and concept through to high-fidelity design and ship. You already use AI as part of how you think, prototype, and ship.
You’ll design the surfaces consumers and SMEs use to move money in production, shape the design system that Xe's products run on across mobile and web, and partner with squads as they ship new features. You'll work in a small team with direct access to product, engineering, and research, own design decisions within your scope, and partner with senior designers on cross-product decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end product design for your surfaces across mobile and web, from research through to high-fidelity design and shipped UI.
- Contribute to and steward the design system, including components, patterns, and consistency across products.
- Partner with PMs and engineers on flow design, interaction patterns, and tradeoffs.
- Bring user evidence into design decisions through interviews, usability testing, and analytics.
- Use AI tools daily across research, ideation, and asset production.
What We’re Looking For
Must-have- 3 to 6 years designing production digital products end-to-end.
- Strong proficiency with modern product design tooling (Figma or equivalent), including component libraries, variants, and prototyping.
- Track record shipping product designs that moved measurable outcomes such as conversion, retention, or NPS.
- Experience designing for both mobile (iOS or Android) and web.
- User research skills, including interviews, usability testing, and synthesis.
- Strong sense of visual craft, hierarchy, and typography.
- Daily use of AI tools across product design work.
- A clear point of view on how a design team should adopt AI.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to present design decisions to non-designers.
- Experience designing for fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
- Experience contributing to or owning a design system at scale.
- Experience designing for multi-currency or multi-region contexts.
- Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, or animation.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or basic frontend code.
Perks & Benefits
- Competitive Salary & Discretionary Bonus
- 23 days annual leave increasing with service (capped at 28 days)
- Paid day off for your Birthday
