As a Business Development Manager – Corporate Sales, you’ll be at the forefront of Xe’s growth journey. Your role is to identify and engage prospective businesses, uncover their FX needs, and successfully onboard high-quality clients for our Dealing Team to manage. This is more than a sales role. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, research, and qualify prospective corporate clients using Salesforce, LinkedIn, networking, and other tools.
- Conduct in‑depth fact‑finding to understand the prospect’s FX requirements and assess solution fit.
- Perform rate comparisons and currency audits to demonstrate value.
- Articulate the features, advantages, and benefits (FABs) of Xe’s FX services to decision‑makers.
- Support the onboarding process in collaboration with Credit, Compliance, and Operations.
- Keep accurate and timely updates in Salesforce to manage your sales funnel.
- Book qualified meetings for field sales and support targeted sales campaigns.
- Report on monthly and quarterly performance metrics.
- Execute sales strategies with creativity, energy, and accountability.
- Ensure a smooth, professional handover of new clients to the Dealing Team for relationship management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a B2B sales or business development role.
- A strong track record of activity‑based performance or KPI outperformance.
- Desire to grow your commercial skillset and develop into a trusted advisor.
- Confidence in engaging stakeholders and communicating value with clarity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and growth‑oriented environment.
- Exposure to FX, fintech, payments, or SaaS sales is a plus, but not required.
