About the role
We're looking for a senior consultant to lead the design, documentation and integration of engineering processes and toolsets for clients operating in complex, high-value manufacturing environments. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, data and technology, translating how teams actually work into clear architectures and realising those processes in PLM and wider engineering platforms. This is a senior, client-facing role. You'll own workshops, shape solutions, guide development teams and act as the trusted point of contact for engineering and IT stakeholders alike. SC Cleared or SC Clearable candidates only.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the analysis, definition and integration of engineering processes, tools and toolsets across the engineering lifecycle.
- Documenting processes in standard architecture formats, producing clear viewpoints across process, data and technology.
- Planning and facilitating user workshops, drawing requirements out of engineering teams and turning them into actionable designs.
- Working hand in hand with development teams to realise tools and processes within PLM and other engineering platforms.
- Understanding and articulating the logical and physical architectures of standard PLM and engineering toolsets.
- Mentoring junior consultants and helping shape delivery approach.
What we're looking for
- Strong track record in engineering process design, tooling and toolset integration.
- Confident producing architecture documentation and multiple viewpoints (process, data, technology).
- Proven workshop planning and facilitation experience with senior engineering stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience working alongside development teams to deliver in PLM and engineering platforms.
- Good grasp of PLM tool architectures, both logical and physical.
Desirable
- Experience in an aerospace or comparable regulated, high-value manufacturing setting.
- Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter or other packaged PLM software.
