We have an urgent customer need - I am seeking an experienced Manufacturing Systems Integration Consultant / Architect to support a portfolio of high-priority digital manufacturing and automation initiatives. This is an immediately available, government-funded engagement with approved budgets and no security constraints - the programme is ready to move with the right candidate in place.
The successful consultant will work at the intersection of MES, manufacturing automation, and IT systems integration, driving deployment and adoption of a broad range of advanced manufacturing technologies across the shop floor and digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy Automated Engine External Capturing (AEEC) solutions using camera and drone technology to support quality and inspection workflows.
- Lead roll-out of local MES tablets across the shop floor, ensuring correct build configuration and user adoption.
- Implement material sorting and clipping automation.
- Integrate MoFEM process modelling software.
- Install and configure Abacus (2021) for Inertia Welding modelling, supporting simulation and manufacturing process validation.
- Implement the Manufacturing Intelligence Systems (MISSY) platform, driving data visibility and operational insight across manufacturing lines.
- Configure and deploy Signature Analyser (SA) data capture from Winbro wire EDM machines.
