We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager - telehandler & material handling products to join our team, specialising in telehandler and Material Handling products. This role involves managing the entire sales process, from identifying and developing new business opportunities to maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively seek out potential customers.
- Expand the client base by engaging with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Promote and sell a range of machinery products, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, collect industry and competitor information, and develop sales strategies.
- Lead the product development team to improve products to meet market demands.
- Assist with product certification and licensing in the UK and Ireland to ensure compliance with local regulations and market entry requirements.

- Proven experience in forklift sales, material handling equipment, or related industrial machinery sectors.
- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, particularly in B2B environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers in logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing sectors.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while contributing to the wider sales team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and complex sales cycles.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Full UK driving license (or equivalent) and willingness to travel across assigned regions for client visits and site demonstrations.
