We have 55+ staff and partner with leading UK and international brands to transform how they understand and monetise their data. Our proprietary CDP platform, Horizon, enables clients to gain deep customer insight and activate data to drive measurable commercial outcomes. XCM delivers a full solution across data, technology, people and partnership, offering a high-touch, “white glove” service that differentiates us in the market. Following recent investment, we are entering a critical phase of growth and scaling the business significantly across product, platform, delivery and commercial functions. Our growth is guided by three strategic pillars: World-Class Technology, Deep Expertise, and Exceptional Relationships.
Help build our London sales team
We’ve just secured a second round of investment and are opening a brand-new London office. We’re building our revenue function from the ground up, and we’re looking for an SDR to be part of that journey. This isn’t a role where you’ll be joining an established machine. You’ll help shape our sales playbooks, build pipeline and create the foundations of our London team. If you’re looking for a role where you can learn quickly, make an impact and progress into an Account Executive position, this could be a great fit.
About Horizon
Horizon is a customer intelligence platform. We bring together a company’s customer data from multiple sources in real time, creating a single, trusted customer view. We then combine that data with analytics, machine learning and audience automation, helping marketing teams turn customer data into intelligence. Our customers include Frasers Group, Aston Villa and the Jack Daniel’s Distillery.
The role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, starting conversations with prospective customers and creating qualified pipeline for the sales team. You’ll:
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, research and lead generation
- Manage inbound enquiries and turn interest into sales conversations
- Book qualified meetings for the sales team
- Understand prospect needs and demonstrate how Horizon can help
- Communicate confidently across phone, email and video
- Build and manage your own prospecting routine
- Own your activity and pipeline targets
It’s a fast-moving environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable adapting, learning and trying new approaches.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to have everything on the list. We’re particularly interested in people who are motivated to learn and develop. You’ll bring:
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good organisation and time management
- Confidence using everyday productivity tools, including Microsoft Office
- A thoughtful approach to building professional relationships
- Resilience and persistence when things don’t go to plan
- Initiative and the ability to build consistent prospecting habits
- Strong listening skills and the confidence to communicate with people at different levels
Just as importantly, you’ll be curious, collaborative and willing to take ownership.
Real responsibility from day one: The pipeline you build will have a direct impact on our growth.
A clear career path: Structured onboarding, regular coaching and a defined route to Account Executive.
A product you’ll be proud to sell: Horizon is trusted by the worlds leading brands including Frasers Group, Aston Villa and the Jack Daniel’s Distillery.
A chance to build: You’ll help shape our London sales function rather than joining an established team.
A supportive team: We work hard, celebrate progress and recognise great performance.
