XCM are looking for a QA Analyst on a 12 month contract.

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the role is to support the testing of SQL database development and integrated CRM or Reporting Applications. This will be delivered, through excellent facilitation of requirements within a team environment, through to the successful completion of all designated Projects to the team, which will be specified, estimated and delivered to schedule.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in the definition and creation of test scenarios for all projects

· Support on the creation of automation test scripts

· Support UAT (defects and creation of test logs)

· Ensure Test Plans are always documented in full and populated

· Liaise directly with Business Analysts / Development team as needed to define test scenarios and resolve issues

· Support UAT resources and queries of the system

· Liaise with the Test Lead to define the test strategy for the business

· Support business as usual activities on databases as needed

· Draft test closure plans for sign-off from internal and external stakeholders

· Report status to relevant stakeholders in the project highlighting risks and issues within testing as needed

· Support on XCM initiatives involving the test team

· SQL Testing Experience

· ISEB Software Testing Foundation data qualification

· Test Scenario creation and planning

· Defect Management

· Test Plan and Test Closure reports

· Software Design Lifecycle

· People Management (Desirable)

· Microsoft Sharepoint (Desirable)

· Team Foundation Server (Desirable)

· SQL Automation (Desirable)
