Role Purpose

The Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of XCM's marketing activity across campaigns, events, webinars, social media, partner marketing, CRM, sales enablement and day-to-day marketing operations.

This is a hands‑on role focused on ensuring marketing plans are delivered efficiently, consistently and to a high standard.

Working closely with the Content & Digital Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will help bring Horizon's content, campaigns and commercial initiatives to market across multiple channels.

The role is central to maintaining marketing momentum, coordinating activity across the business and ensuring that sales, client development and leadership teams are supported by professional and effective marketing execution.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop across multiple disciplines including campaign management, digital marketing, events, social media, CRM, partner marketing and marketing operations within a fast‑growing technology business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Marketing Delivery
  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, events and partner channels.
  • Coordinate campaign schedules, assets, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Ensure marketing activity is delivered on time and aligned to agreed objectives.
  • Assist with campaign launches, tracking and reporting.
  • Work closely with the Content & Digital Marketing Manager to maximise content reach and engagement.
  • Social Media & Audience Engagement
  • Manage day‑to‑day social media activity across Linked In and other relevant channels.
  • Schedule and publish content.
  • Monitor engagement and support audience growth.
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and interaction.
  • Assist in promoting webinars, events, client successes and thought leadership content.
  • Support executive social media activity where required.
  • Events, Webinars & Partner Marketing
  • Support the planning and delivery of webinars, roundtables, client events and industry conferences.
  • Coordinate registrations, attendee communications and logistics.
  • Manage webinar platforms and event administration.
  • Support post‑event follow‑up activity and reporting.
  • Assist with partner marketing initiatives and joint campaigns.
  • Coordinate promotional activity with technology, media and strategic partners.
  • Support the management of CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Build and deploy email campaigns.
  • Maintain contact databases and campaign lists.
  • Assist with lead nurturing programmes.
  • Ensure marketing data is maintained accurately and consistently.
  • Support reporting on campaign and lead performance.
  • Assist in maintaining sales presentations, one‑pagers, product sheets and case studies.
  • Ensure marketing and sales assets remain current and accessible.
  • Support the preparation of materials for prospect meetings, events and presentations.
  • Coordinate the organisation of the sales content library.
  • Work closely with sales and client development teams to support commercial objectives.

  • Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers and activity schedules.
  • Coordinate suppliers, agencies and external partners where required.
  • Support budget tracking and marketing administration.
  • Assist with reporting across campaigns, events and digital activity.
  • Ensure marketing systems, assets and processes remain organised and up to date.
  • Brand & Internal Communications
  • Help ensure all marketing outputs align with Horizon and XCM brand guidelines.
  • Support internal communications and company‑wide marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with company events, team meetings and internal engagement activity.

Experience & Skills

  • 2‑4 years experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns and events.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using social media platforms in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM, email marketing or marketing automation platforms.
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience within B2B technology, Saa S or software businesses.
  • Experience using Word Press or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience with webinar and event platforms.
  • Experience with Canva or similar creative tools.
