This is a fully remote role, but you won’t be left to figure things out alone. You’ll have a strong support network around you, including Lead Analysts and a Client Team who work closely together day-to-day. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership, and can manage their workload — while also thriving as part of a collaborative team.
If you love problem solving, enjoy working at pace, and want to build your career in analytics, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting Lead Analysts and the Client Team with quick-turnaround insight requests and campaign reporting
- Using SQL to pull, validate, and explore large datasets
- Supporting the creation of clear, visual insights using XCM’s Horizon BI tool, helping turn analysis into easy-to-digest reporting for internal teams and clients
- Measuring performance and ROI across online and offline marketing activity
- Analysing customer and campaign behaviour across channels including:
- Web & onsite behaviour
- SMS
- Direct mail
What We’re Looking For
- SQL experience is essential (you’ll use it regularly)
- Excel skills are important — confident working with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets
- A natural interest in data, customer behaviour, and performance insight
- Comfortable working at pace and juggling multiple priorities
- Curious, proactive, organised, and methodical
- Confident knowing when to ask for help — and keen to learn quickly
- Able to explain insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Enjoys remote working, while staying connected and engaged with the wider team
Bonus (nice to have)
- Experience with BI / visualisation tools — Superset would be a big advantage
- Exposure to marketing, CRM, ecommerce, or customer analytics datasets
- Experience working with big data environments or data warehouses
Why XCM?
- Fully remote role with a strong support network
- Exposure to high-profile clients and exciting sectors
