Our client A leading logistics business The role You’ll be responsible for the performance of the company achieving results for the board’s overall strategy. You will lead a large team to drive processes and improvement within a fast paced environment to ensure excellent service levels are being met. You will lead, coach & develop end engage with senior managers to ensure ‘best in class processes’ are implemented and the organizational vision is set out. You will identify business growth opportunities and ensure innovative business solutions are developed to drive business forward. Your responsibilities will include: Implementation of a transport strategy for the UK that will enable the business to meet its functional and commercial goals for the future Management of a transport team responsible for all of the transport scheduling and administration Implementation of a set of KPI`s that will compliment the business model, provide direction for process improvements and provide better leverage when influencing stakeholders Accountability for compliance and H&SE across the supply chain Project management as and when required Formulating and successfully implementing company policy
