XCL Group are working with a long standing business based in Huddersfield and are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team. They specialise within the engineering and automotive sector and have a range of different product lines across the warehouse. This will be a busy role and you will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the warehouse. Job Responsibilities * Managing the overall operation of the warehouse and optimise the efficiency of the dispatch. * Coordinating with the rest of the management team to plan future capacity and growth of the business. * Carry out KPI and appraisal meeting with the rest of the team. * Working with clients, suppliers and transport to ensure the products are delivered on time and in excellent condition. * Annual stock takes and regularly updating the control systems with the stock levels to ensure everything is exact. * Use of manual handling equipment and ensuring that all the warehouse team are aware of the manual handling procedure. * Adhering and implementing health and safety across the site. Job Requirements * Past experience in a Warehouse Manager role. * Ideally have some market knowledge sin either engineering or automotive. * Excellent people skills * Ideally drive and have your own transport. Hours: Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 5pm & Friday 8:30 – 4pm Our client offer an excellent environment to work in with support for progression and have a low turnover of staff. The company also has an incentive which is a profit bonus and this starts as 3% of annual salary but would rise with time served up to 15%. It’s a great company to join and this role would play an integral part of the management team
