Job Description: Our client is a plastic injection moulding manufacturer with a busy UK site based in Littleborough. They are looking for skilled setters / technicians to join their busy technical team to ensure the smooth transitions of tools to keep up with the Production schedule. This company operate on a weekly rotating shift pattern, so please only apply if you can commit to a 6am-2pm / 2pm – 10pm shift Job Responsibilities · Carrying out tool changes / colour changes and sampling new products. · Where possible reducing cycle times without effecting the quality and making the production run more efficiently. · Montor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of scrap. · Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing. · Working with management to follow tool changes set out throughout the shifts and achieving targets. · Ensuring the smooth hand over at the end of every shift. · Following all health and safety regulations across the site and where possible passing on past experience and knowledge to others within the team. Job Requirements · Must have past experience in Setting injection moulding machines. · Good knowledge of injection moulding. · Ideally would drive and have their own transport. · Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.
