We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse team based in Holmfirth on a temporary basis. This role involves a mixture of warehouse duties, forklift truck operation, and loading/unloading deliveries to support the smooth running of dispatch operations. This is a night shift position working from 4:00pm to 2:00am, offering a competitive hourly rate and an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move goods safely around the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles
- Preparing pallets and orders ready for dispatch
- Moving stock within the warehouse and organising storage areas
- Carrying out general warehouse duties including picking and packing
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail when preparing orders and pallets
- Reliable and able to commit to the night shift schedule
