Our client has a large manufacturing facility based in Rochdale and they are looking for hard working individuals to join their manufacturing team. They are a global company and this role will come with the expectation of working abroad particularly in America or China throughout the year. The successful person must come from a CNC background and be confident in fault finding and servicing of a range of machinery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carrying out the servicing, maintenance and upgrades to the machinery on clients sites.
  • Maintain and build client relationships when attending sites.
  • Diagnosing the problem and resolving any issues as required.
  • Providing support either over the phone or in person to the other global sites.
  • Working with the sales and production teams when not working on site.
  • Travelling to other sites globally to assist the other manufacturing sites to ensure that the maximum output is achieved.

Job Requirements

  • Must come from either a CNC milling or grinding background.
  • Confident fault finding and problem solving.
  • Experience with most Microsoft packages.
  • Also must have the flexibility to be able to work away from home as travel will be a large part of this and you could be working away around 30 weeks of the year.

Hours: 37 hours per week with overtime being paid on any hours work above this.

Overseas travel: This is likely to be the majority of the time and you will be paid door to door with the addition of out working allowances.
