Extrusion Setter

Job Description:\\n\\nOur client is a large plastic extrusion & injection moulding manufacturer with blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. This opportunity is for a skilled extrusion setter to join the company and play an integral part of the extrusion team.\\n\\nThey are promoting a 4 day working week and there is further opportunity for progression in the future and the possibility of the department growing through continued success.\\n\\nJob Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Change profiles and setting up new jobs to run.\\n\\n * Prepping machinery and loading correct polymer mixes.\\n\\n * Working to production plans and targets to ensure company orders are fulfilled.\\n\\n * Quality check mouldings and get these passed off by the in house quality and inspection departments.\\n\\n * Consistently abide by all health and safety regulations and ensure this is kept up to thought out the department.\\n\\n * Assist with any training for new members joining the setting team and share knowledge learnt within the industry.\\n\\n * Respond quickly to any defects in the moulding and alter settings as required.\\n\\n * Ensuring the smooth hand over at the end of every shift.\\n\\nJob Requirements:\\n\\n * Past experience within a similar role.\\n\\n * Good knowledge of extrusion moulding.\\n\\n * Ideally would drive and have their own transport.\\n\\n * Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.\\n\\nHours:\\n\\n * This shift pattern will rotate on a weekly basis\\n\\n * Week 1: 6am – 6pm Monday – Thursday\\n\\n * Week 2: 6pm – 6am Monday – Thursday\\n\\nJob Types: Full-time, Permanent\\n\\nPay: From £14.60 per hour
