The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Our client is a large plastic extrusion & injection moulding manufacturer with blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. This opportunity is for a skilled extrusion setter to join the company and play an integral part of the extrusion team. They are promoting a 4 day working week and there is further opportunity for progression in the future and the possibility of the department growing through continued success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Change profiles and setting up new jobs to run.
- Prepping machinery and loading correct polymer mixes.
- Working to production plans and targets to ensure company orders are fulfilled.
- Quality check mouldings and get these passed off by the in house quality and inspection departments.
- Consistently abide by all health and safety regulations and ensure this is kept up to thought out the department.
- Assist with any training for new members joining the setting team and share knowledge learnt within the industry.
- Respond quickly to any defects in the moulding and alter settings as required.
- Ensuring the smooth hand over at the end of every shift.
Job Requirements:
- Past experience within a similar role.
- Good knowledge of extrusion moulding.
- Ideally would drive and have their own transport.
- Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.
Hours:
- This shift pattern will rotate on a weekly basis.
- Week 1: 6am – 6pm Monday – Thursday.
- Week 2: 6pm – 6am Monday – Thursday.
