Our busy client is based in Batley and they are looking for a skilled Coach Trimmer / Coach Builder to assist with their busy order book and work on their vehicles. The role will require you to carry out modifications in accordance with bespoke specifications to make the vehicles accessible for disability users. Our client is a growing team and there would be the potential for progression for the right person throughout the future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Following customers specifications and fitting interiors and exteriors of converted vehicles.
- Trimming upholstery and fitting and modification to door cards.
- Working alongside the rest of the team and assisting in the Installation of ramps, bespoke seating and storage solutions.
- Using power tools and equipment.
- Working closely with the production team and helping to achieve deadlines.
- Ensuring all health and safety rules are adhered to.
Job Requirements:
- Previous vehicle fit out experience.
- Confident using hand tools and machinery.
- Ideally have a valid driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team.
Hours: Mon - Thurs: 7 am - 4 pm, Fri 7 am - 12.45 pm
Our client are a growing company with the possibility of further promotions, they also look to review salaries and performance within the first 3 months of employment and thereafter it would be 6 months. They have had a very low turnover of staff and offer other benefits such as 25 days holiday + stats and a competitive company pension.
