We are looking for a reliable assembly operative to join our client who specialise in sheet metal engineering. The role will involve assembling sheet metal components and following engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble sheet metal components and products according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Carry out basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Report any faults, defects, or issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively as part of a production team to meet deadlines and output targets
- Follow company procedures, including health & safety and quality systems
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or sheet metal environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm
