Data is at the heart of everything we do: Xceptor has been designed around data manipulation in its broadest sense. We source data from wherever it flows. We curate, normalise, validate, repair, and enrich that data so it reaches its destination in a reliable and consistent format. Data coming out of Xceptor is data our clients can trust. We are recognised as an expert in the Financial Services vertical, which strongly aligns with Business Users in Middle and Back-Office teams. We enable these users to solve their data challenges by themselves, rather than through a technology-led project.

Our mission - we empower business users within financial institutions to build automated processes that deliver trusted data. Our values sit at the heart of our business, driving who we are and how we work. At Xceptor, we are:

  • Client Centric; we prioritise our Clients’ experience and needs.
  • One Team; we actively support one another to achieve our goals.
  • Impactful; we focus, we innovate, we make every minute matter.

Your Role: Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll join our wider marketing team. You'll predominantly partner with the leadership teams across our sales, product and corporate functions, helping us to build and elevate our brand presence by creating, shaping and delivering world-class content, globally. You'll additionally need to have a flexible attitude, be highly digitally focused, and with writing skills that will attract at targeted persona. This is a newly defined role, created to bring a stronger demand generation focus to how Xceptor creates and uses content, and plans and executes integrated campaigns. Rather than measuring success by reach or clicks only, this person will be obsessed with attracting and engaging the target audience.

You will develop and execute a marketing content plan that is built directly into each campaign, ensuring that what we produce serves a clear purpose at every stage of the buying journey. The content feeds the campaigns, and the campaigns give the content its context and reach. This is a highly collaborative, output-oriented role. You will work closely with everyone across the marketing channels, leadership team, product and sales teams to ensure every piece of content plays a clear, measurable role in moving the business forward and building the brand in the market. The right person will be comfortable working across teams and taking initiative to build out the content plan to create impact in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design campaigns around qualified pipeline, not volume, ensuring targeting, messaging, and content assets are all built around the Ideal Customer Profile from the outset.
  • Run structured campaign kick-offs along with Campaign Manager to align all stakeholders on objectives, audiences, messaging, and owners before any asset is produced; run retrospectives at close to capture learnings and improve future performance.
  • Partner with Digital on paid amplification and Marketing Ops on HubSpot and Salesforce setup to ensure every campaign is correctly tracked, attributed, and reportable from day one.
  • Build and manage nurture programmes that keep engaged contacts progressing through the funnel between campaign moments.
  • Delivery of company social posts and blog posts.
  • Write-up of company award submissions.
  • Ownership of content of quarterly leadership, internal event for whole company.

Content Strategy & Development

Content is not a separate workstream - it is what makes the campaigns successful and our brand come alive. The content plan must be built from, and integrated into, the overall marketing campaign plan, ensuring every asset produced has a clear purpose, audience, and moment within the campaign journey.

  • Develop an annual content plan that is derived from and aligned to the marketing campaign plan and overall company vision - mapping every content asset to a specific campaign, audience segment, buying stage, and channel.
  • For each campaign, define the content requirements as part of the campaign brief, identifying what assets are needed, in what sequence, for which personas, and at which stage of the funnel. Own the delivery of those assets against the campaign timeline.
  • Create and manage thought leadership content, long-form articles, whitepapers, guides, and blog posts, tailored to ICP personas and buying stages, prioritising quality of audience engagement over volume of traffic.
  • Work with the Product Marketing Director to ensure all content accurately reflects product messaging and GTM priorities, so campaigns go to market with a consistent, credible voice.
  • Maintain a rolling editorial calendar that keeps content production ahead of campaign deadlines, with sufficient reserve to sustain output during peak delivery periods.

Organic Social Media

  • Develop and manage the organic social strategy, with a primary focus on SEO, GEO and AEO.
  • Write and publish regular organic social content that drives engagement from target accounts and builds brand authority in our key verticals.
  • Monitor social performance and iterate based on engagement quality, audience fit matters more than impressions.
  • Support the wider team on social amplification of campaigns, events, and product announcements.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure all activity aligns to FY27 strategic priorities.
  • Report on content and campaign performance through agreed KPIs, including MQL quality, pipeline influenced, content-to-opportunity attribution, and social engagement from ICP accounts.
  • Be an active contributor to cross-functional planning sessions with Leadership team, Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

Who we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in a B2B marketing role with a strong emphasis on demand generation, campaign management, and end-to-end campaign project management across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing multi-channel campaigns that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (campaign execution, nurture flows, reporting).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and similar ABM tools.
  • Previous exposure to a high-growth or scale-up environment.

Personal Attributes

  • ICP-obsessed: you care deeply about attracting the right people, not the most people.
  • Focused on company image and positioning.
  • Commercial mindset: you think in terms of pipeline and revenue contribution, not content metrics alone.
  • Self-starter: you take ownership of your work and deliver without being prompted.
