A major media organisation is seeking an AI Programme Manager to lead a series of high-impact AI and automation proof‑of‑concepts, taking the strongest ideas through pilot and into production. This role sits within a transformation function and will help shape how AI delivers meaningful value across the organisation.
You will run the full lifecycle of AI initiatives – from discovery and scoping through to delivery, evaluation and handover – working with product, engineering, data, design and external partners to turn concepts into working solutions.
What you will do:
- Lead AI and automation PoCs, pilots and production rollouts end to end
- Translate business needs into clear AI‑enabled solutions and lightweight roadmaps
- Work with cross‑functional teams to build PoCs and MVPs
- Define KPIs, success criteria and evaluation frameworks with business leads
- Manage stakeholders and communicate progress clearly
- Document learnings and shape recommendations for scale‑up decisions
- Balance rapid experimentation with strong product thinking and ethical considerations
- Stay up to date with AI/ML trends, platforms and emerging tools
What we are looking for:
- 6+ years in programme or product management
- Experience delivering technical PoCs or MVPs in complex organisations
- Hands‑on exposure to AI, ML or intelligent automation
- Strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Ability to explain complex ideas to non‑technical audiences
- Comfortable working at pace in iterative environments
