I am working with a well-established fashion retailer with a £200m turnover and a loyal, growing customer base — who are in the middle of something genuinely exciting. Earlier this year they launched an online marketplace, and are now looking for a Product Manager to help grow it. This is a buyer-side role. You'll own the customer-facing marketplace experience — improving how shoppers find, discover, and convert across a catalogue of 50,000+ products. Search, SEO, personalisation, and product discovery are your core levers. You'll report directly to a Lead Product Manager and work closely with the CTO and data team. If you want to join a business at a genuine inflection point where your work will have direct commercial impact and you'll have the space to move fast, this is it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own the roadmap for the buyer-facing marketplace experience, balancing short-term wins with long-term growth strategy.
- Drive improvements to search relevance, SEO, personalisation, and product discovery to grow discoverability and conversion.
- Define and track KPIs, running data-driven experiments to iterate and optimise customer journeys.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to translate customer insights into clear requirements and delivery plans.
- Act as the voice of the customer — gathering feedback, running research, and keeping the shopper at the centre of every product decision.
- Manage stakeholders across the business, communicating roadmap priorities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid product management experience, ideally with exposure to marketplace, ecommerce, or consumer-facing digital products.
- Demonstrable experience with search, SEO, personalisation, or product discovery — either as a direct owner or as a close collaborator.
- Strong data literacy — comfortable with analytics platforms, A/B testing, and using both quantitative and qualitative insight to make decisions.
- Confident in agile delivery — user stories, backlog management, ceremonies, and working closely with engineering teams.
- A commercial mindset and the pace to match — you move quickly, prioritise ruthlessly, and care about outcomes not just outputs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or retail.
- Familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g. Mirakl, Marketplacer).
- Experience working with recommendation engines or personalisation tooling.
