Xcede are delighted to be working with an organisation who have a truly global reach within their field. The company deals with a wealth of both structured and unstructured data in order to help their clients understand their millions of customers better. The organisation builds impactful Data Science and Machine Learning tools for these clients, too. The company has a pre-established Data Science & Machine Learning unit headed up by a very experienced Head of Data Science, and they are continuing to expand their team with the hire of another Principal Data Scientist.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy effective statistical and machine learning models.
  • Advise on proper Model Deployment infrastructure.
  • Mentor and guide other Data Science team members.
  • Collaborate with a huge variety of stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An MSc / PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a similarly relevant area.
  • Extensive commercial experience building Machine Learning & Data Science models for Recommender Systems, Pricing Elasticity, Forecasting, NLP, Computer Vision models, etc.
  • Strong Model Deployment & software engineering skills to contribute to Machine Learning Engineering tasks.
