West London (onsite) 6-month contract. We're supporting a major media and broadcast organisation looking for an experienced Platform Integration Engineer to join a specialist team responsible for media asset management, content processing and video delivery platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating, automating and supporting complex broadcast and media workflows across both on-premise and AWS environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building and maintaining deployment pipelines for media processing platforms
  • Automating infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code
  • Integrating MAM/PAM platforms with internal and third-party systems via APIs
  • Supporting video processing, transcoding, streaming and content delivery workflows
  • Building and maintaining cloud-native and hybrid broadcast platforms
  • Producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational runbooks
  • Working closely with engineering, operations and product teams to improve platform reliability and scalability

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with MAM/PAM platforms and broadcast media workflows
  • Good understanding of video processing, content management and streaming technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and Ansible
  • CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Concourse or GitHub Actions
  • Experience building API integrations between enterprise systems
  • Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based media platforms
  • Experience with serverless architectures including AWS Lambda and AWS Batch
  • Understanding of modern media supply chains and content distribution workflows
  • Experience supporting large-scale video platforms in broadcast, streaming or media organisations
  • Knowledge of containerisation and cloud-native architectures

This is a highly specialised contract and is likely to appeal to engineers from broadcast, streaming, media technology, post-production or content platform environments who enjoy solving complex integration and automation challenges.
