We are supporting a major UK media and entertainment organisation as they continue a significant enterprise transformation programme centred around Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll. They are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Test Manager to lead the testing strategy, planning, governance and execution activities across a complex Payroll implementation and optimisation programme. This is a high-profile contract opportunity within a well-known household brand, offering the chance to work alongside senior stakeholders, systems integrators and business teams to ensure the successful delivery of critical payroll capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll testing strategy.
- Develop detailed test plans, test schedules and governance frameworks.
- Manage all phases of testing including SIT, UAT, regression and payroll parallel runs.
- Coordinate testing activities across business, HR, Payroll, Finance and technology teams.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements, payroll legislation and compliance obligations.
- Oversee defect management processes and reporting.
- Provide regular updates to programme leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead test readiness assessments and support go-live planning activities.
- Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where required.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Manager on Oracle Fusion HCM programmes.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll testing.
- Demonstrable experience delivering payroll transformation projects within large, complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT, end-to-end and parallel payroll testing cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within large programme environments and matrix organisations.
Desirable Experience
- Oracle Fusion HCM broader module knowledge.
- Experience within media, broadcasting, entertainment or similarly complex organisations.
- Exposure to Workday-to-Oracle or legacy-to-Oracle transformation programmes.
- Experience working with offshore and third-party testing teams.
