We are looking for a Network Engineer to join aleading consultancy within the Networks and Infrastructure space.
The role will focus heavily on WAN engineering and delivery, with BGP and MPLS being the core technical requirements.
Youll be hands-on technically while also taking responsibility for leading client engagements and delivering network solutions.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Design, implement and deliver WAN solutions, with a strong focus on BGP and MPLS.
Provide hands-on engineering across Cisco, Juniper and Arista network environments.
Lead the delivery of WAN engineering and network transformation projects from design through to implementation.
Work directly with clients to understand technical requirements and develop appropriate network solutions.
Take ownership of client engagements, providing technical leadership and acting as a trusted technical point of contact.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex WAN, routing and connectivity issues across enterprise environments.
Develop and review network designs, implementation plans and technical documentation.
Work collaboratively with client and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively and to a high technical standard.
Remain hands-on technically while providing technical leadership throughout project delivery.
Key Requirements/background
Proven experience as a WAN/Network Engineer within enterprise, telecommunications, managed services or professional services environments.
Strong hands-on background in BGP and MPLS, with these being central to your WAN engineering experience.
Comfortable combining hands-on technical engineering with taking the lead on client engagements and project delivery.
Previous experience delivering WAN engineering, implementation and network transformation projects.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
